Inc. Magazine Unveils its First-Ever List of the Most Successful Companies in the Region: D.C. Metro’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies—The Inc. 5000 Series

NEW YORK, NY – Inc. magazine revealed that INFINITI HR is No. 239 on its inaugural Inc. 5000 Series: D.C. Metro list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the D.C. Metro economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. 

“For decades, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private businesses in America to the Inc. 5000, but in 2020 INFINITI HR and the other winners have truly been set apart as the first regional honorees,” INFINITI HR CEO Scott Smrkovski said. “We’re honored to have made the inaugural list and would like to applaud the other winners for their efforts in creating jobs, putting more people to work, and growing the economy.”

The companies on this list show stunning rates of growth across all industries in the D.C. metropolitan area. Between 2016 and 2018, these 250 private companies had an average growth rate of 196 percent, even while the broader economy grew just 10 percent. And, in 2018 alone, they employed more than 88,000 people and added $6.5 billion in revenue to the greater D.C. area’s economy. Companies based in the Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond, Virginia, metro areas brought in the highest revenue overall.

BURTONSVILLE, MD – Quad M Solutions, Inc. purchased majority control of Valleybrook Consulting LLC, a staffing company, in early November of 2019. This acquisition provided the requisite relationship with Quad’s TPA (third party administrator) and Sun Life, one of the largest medical stop-loss reinsurers. Doing business as OpenAxess, the staffing company commenced onboarding several hundred new employee lives with the assistance of its new JV partner INFINITI HR, a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO). INFINITI HR has continued to add new employee lives into February, and we expect significant developments as the year progresses and as the JV relationship becomes more digitally connected.

OpenAxess provides an employer of record (EOR-staffing company) solution to providing independent contractors, ‘gig economy’ workers, entrepreneurs, and small group employers quality comprehensive major medical health insurance and employee benefit options. OpenAxess will provide these customers a one-stop shop for managing employment filings, but especially providing affordable major medical comprehensive health insurance (at rates 15-50% less expensive including tax savings) benefits. Quad M Solutions, Inc. believes their health insurance solution will enable OpenAxess to be vastly unique in its ability to service a market, some say is nearly 60 million US individuals, who are working for themselves as independent contractors. 

This new staffing company solution enables the individual to be an employee of the staffing company and staffed back to their company. This allows the staffing company to provide all its employees with affordable health insurance benefits as a larger company, while providing the staffed client to continue having its workers acting as independent contractors through their ownership entities. Their entities continue to act, operate, and receive all the benefits as they are the owners of these entities.

Independent contractors and ‘gig economy’ workers have been growing 500% faster than regular W-2 employees over the last decade. According to a recent index provided by Google informatics, some of the industries with the highest self-employment businesses are: Dentists: 132,120; Ground Maintenance Workers (i.e. landscapers): 1,165,745; Farmers: 679,338; Writers, Authors, Editors, and Photographers: 242,969; Real Estate Brokers and Agents: 219,440; Lawyers: 295,458.
