Rob Blunt has 39 years of PEO experience and has been the Vice President of Operations for INFINITI HR for the past five years. He began his esteemed career in human resources with Insperity (formerly Administaff), where he spent eight years as an independent agency owner before becoming the district manager for the Washington, D.C. office for four years. Following this, Rob founded PEO Consulting Group, where he spent 18 years providing training and consulting to more than 100 professional employer organization (PEO) clients. Most recently, Rob played a key role in building the business development infrastructure for an HR outsourcing firm acquired by a nationwide P&C agency, leveraging human capital management technology.

With a diverse blend of strategic, leadership, and consulting roles, Rob excels at aligning various departments and functions to achieve shared goals. He bridges the gap between sales and service, improving quality control, job satisfaction, and client service.

As Vice President of Operations at INFINITI HR, Rob reports directly to the CEO, working closely with internal teams and leaders to enhance communication, accountability, and workflows across the company.

Rob is a contributor to PEO Insider and a speaker at SHRM and NAPEO conferences. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a former officer in the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, Rob served tours on both a cruiser and an aircraft carrier. He resides in Millersville, Maryland, with his wife, Margaret, and has two grown daughters.
